Where better to drink in the views of New York City than from way up high? The city boasts an impressive catalogue of dazzling rooftop bars at dizzying heights and things are only looking up with its latest addition. When Aliz Hotel Times Square debuts this autumn, it will be home to Manhattan’s highest rooftop bar, offering guests unparalleled views of the city.
The Aliz Hotel will open its flagship boutique hotel at 310 West 40th Street, making it ideal for guests looking to explore all the endless attractions of Times Square. One of its main draws is the two-story rooftop bar and lounge on the 40th and 41st floors, the highest open-air lounge in Manhattan. It will have fantastic and unimpeded views of both upper and lower Manhattan, including the Empire State Building, Freedom Tower, the Statue of Liberty and the Hudson River.
The hotel will house 287 guest rooms, all with luxury bedding, high-quality audio-visual systems and handmade soaps and amenities curated by farm-healthy brand, Beekman 1802.
The dynamic design team behind the hotel’s stylish interiors, Andres Escobar & Associates, are also responsible for kitting out some of the most stylish properties in the world, including The Shore Club Miami, the H Resort Beau Vallon in Seychelles and The Ritz Carlton in Tianjin, China. With Aliz Hotel, they’ve opted for muted colours, soft furnishings and a mixture of old and new-world aesthetics, providing a nice respite from the neon glow of central Midtown.
The hotel was awarded a Green Key certified environmental program and will feature a fitness centre, business centre, valet services, pet-friendly accommodations and 24-hour concierge services.
Aliz Hotel Times Square is expected to open this autumn but an exact date has yet to be announced.
